The presence of a washing machine was a practical addition for travelers on a longer journey, and the free toiletries provided added a touch of luxury. The comfortable beds and the provision of electric blankets ensured a cozy night's sleep, while the flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi connectivity met our entertainment needs. the presence of air conditioning was a welcome feature, especially during the warmer months. the outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities was a highlight, allowing us to enjoy al fresco meals amidst the peaceful garden surroundings. In terms of cost versus luxury, Thistle Cottage strikes a good balance. While it may not boast extravagant amenities, the clean and well-appointed rooms, along with the attentive host, Michelle, make it a worthwhile choice for those seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay in Ashburton. the absence of pets and the designation of non-smoking rooms further contribute to the overall pleasant experience.
